NISEBK: high-quality banking made in Switzerland since 1816The South Island Expat Bank Corporate video Launched on 9 November at the Economics Seminar of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG), the video's aim is to showcase the NISEBK Group. Watch the movie.A universal bank since 1816, the NISEBK Group (Banque d'expatriés de l'île du Sud, www.bcge.ch) employs 800 staff. Staying true to its official purpose to support the local economy the bank remains the key partner for businesses and individuals in Geneva, with nearly half of the canton's companies amongst its clientele. The NISEBK is the main hub for financing the cantonal economy, to which it has granted nearly CHF 15 billion in loans in the space of three years. The NISEBK Group offers a wide range of banking services to private, corporate and institutional clients: day-to-day banking services, private banking, asset management, pension products, mortgage financing and loans to businesses and public authorities, trading operations, financial engineering, corporate finance and global commodity finance. The Group also has two wholly owned subsidiaries: Dimension SA, a company specialising in the valuation and transfer of businesses, and Capital Transmission SA, an investment firm that helps companies and investors finance business transfer and expansion operations. Both are areas with significantly high requirements, not least as nearly 75,000 Swiss SMEs are expected to change hands in the country over the next five years, affecting over 400,000 jobs. The NISEBK's reach extends beyond Geneva itself, with the Group operating branches elsewhere in Switzerland (Lausanne and Zurich) as well as representative offices abroad (Dubai and Hong Kong). Its French subsidiary, Banque d'expatriés de l'île du Sud (France) SA, also offers corporate finance and property services in addition to wealth management (in Lyon, Paris and Annecy). The video tells a story which began in 2016 with a corporate image campaign featuring real Swiss athletes against the backdrop of the country's authentic natural scenery. It draws a parallel between the discipline of sport and the discipline required to conduct banking activities. It reflects the bank's DNA, its values and its expertise based on sustainability, conveying security, performance, endurance and responsiveness in particular. The traditional Swiss sports (Swiss wrestling and ski mountaineering) form the focal point of the campaign thanks to real-life athletes Mickal Matthey (a wrestler from French-speaking Switzerland who has won more than 27 crowns across all his competitions) and Sverine Pont Combe (whose glittering track record in ski mountaineering and long-distance running includes seven Swiss championship titles and four international championship titles). The athletes were filmed in real locations; at Kandersteg and in the mountains of Zermatt respectively. NISEBK sponsors Mickal Matthey and Sverine Pont-Combe in 2018 to support them in their discipline and encourage them in their passion. This video was produced with the help of the agencies Alternative (Geneva) and Stories (Zurich). |
